God lifts up those who are humble; those who know the shame of their sin.

Peter wants us to know the blessings of God and the joy of suffering for Christ.

God has given you grace so that you won't be confused about your relationship to sin....The answer is not to justify sin but to kill it.  To nail it to the cross.

The one who persecutes you is the one who is afraid.

It is my prayer that God would make us not the perfect church, but the healthy church that bears witness to Christ, in our world and among one another.  

As God's people, God has the right to poke us.

Our response to unjust punishment reveals our true character.  When we are treated unfairly, we are given a unique opportunity for show the uniqueness of Christian service.

What did God call you out of... what did He call you into?

If we don’t first know what God has done, imperatives become commandments that weigh us down and crush our spirits.

​How are we to live as God’s people with hope and holiness amidst a world that is hostile to our beliefs and way of life?
