Who We Are
Still celebrating the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation, Westminster Presbyterian Church is a member of the Presbyterian Church in America. We remain Faithful to Scripture, True to the Reformed Faith, and Obedient to the Great Commission.
We believe that the Bible is the written Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and without error in the original manuscripts. The Bible is God's revelation of truth, and is infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice. We believe in the Holy Trinity, that there is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that all are sinners and entirely unable to save themselves from God's displeasure, except by His mercy. We believe that salvation is by God alone, as He sovereignty elects those He will save, enabling them freely to choose Him. We believe that salvation is freely offered to all, and that whoever believes God's truth and believes on Jesus Christ is a Christian. We believe that salvation is based on God's grace, not on individual merit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. Through His perfect life and sacrificial death, Christ atoned for the sins of all who trust in Him alone for salvation.
We believe that God is gracious and faithful to His people, to individuals and their families in successive generations, according to His Covenant promises. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells God's people and gives them the strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him. We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself. We believe that we should live all aspects of our lives to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Our History
"By appointment of the Board of Home Missions of the United Presbyterian Church, Rev. L. Lanning came to Everett, Washington, in September 1900. October 14, 1900 in a rented hall, he conducted his first church service in Everett. Very few people were present and only one of the number, Mrs. Elizabeth Loria, has been a member of the United Presbyterian Church. Everett was advertised by interesting articles from the pen of Dr. Lanning in the United Presbyterian Church papers and a number of families were thus influenced to move hither. The Congregation was organized with twenty-seven members, March 19, 1901." Session Record Book, 1901
